Gear
Gear is very important to me. I love to watch video’s about gear, and sometimes I also make video’s about it over at another channel of mine called ”Creator University”. Go subscribe to that channel too while you’re at it. You’ll find the style is very similar.
This page right here is dedicated to my current gear, to inspire and to showcase what and how I use it to create video’s I love. Wether you’re a viewer who’s interested, a creator who’s interested, or a brand that wants to know what I work with, here it is!

So the obvious first: Canon R6 Mii, not my first camera, but the first I actually used. Still very interested in trying out Sony, but I must say the Canon camera works great. It only struggles a little when you have a vibrant color background. If you shoot on a blue background/backdrop, it won’t focus on a black product, ever. The lens I bought with it. Don’t really miss the F2.8 for what I use it for. The Falcam F38 system is great, I use for all tripods and stands, so that I can switch quickly without hassle. And then finally, the sling bag from Peak Design. Great quality bag, first both my lens and my camera, but that’s about it. I need a tech bag for anything else.
For lights I have the Amaran T2C, I mostly use that for getting color on my background paper, or for detail shots where it looks really nice. Sometimes I use it as a fill light. The tiny AL-MC light I use for fill, or for product shots. It’s one of those lights you put next to a product to really make it shine. Then I have two Amaran 100D’s, which are my left and right ‘main lights’ for my setup. If I do a-roll, I only use one. The Nanlite F150 was my first light, still works great but it has since found it’s place as a hair light, behind me, for a-roll. It makes a little more noise, and it does not have the app control that Amaran has.
So to diffuse the light, I use a big light dome SE, without the grid for a-roll, and sometimes with grid for the product showcase. I want to have as much light out of one when doing a-roll, thus the removal of the grid. Then for my product showcase ‘overhead’ recording, I use a manfrotto wall mount, which causes almost no wobble when touching the camera. And I say almost, because there’s always some. You can also move it to the side if you want, which is great. At the end I use the other manfrotto product next to it, called 143BKT, which I use to point it down, and then with another F38 quick release plate on there, I can angle the camera down without turning it. In that way, I can also use it with a big TV, so I can really see every detail. Lastly, the iFootage Monopod, is great to use with the T2C, since you can just use it on it’s lowest setting and basically have a dedicated light tripod.
