For brands

Being unfiltered does come with alot of freedom. My audience trusts me, and that is worth alot. I’d like to keep it that way though, so I can’t promise a positive review. What I can promise is me being objective. Sometimes paid reviews work out, sometimes they don’t. As a general rule of thumb I prefer partnerships with brands that I already love and use myself, but I’ve also worked with alot of brands I did not know before, and now can absolutely stand behind.

I see lots of cases each year, for every phone I get. Wether I purchase them myself, or get sent product. One example that stuck with me though was TineeOwl. They reached out, asked me if I was interested to check out their cases and the rest is history. Just like 30+ other brands, I got to take a look at them and really liked it.

They got featured in my top 5 because the case is great. It’s really that easy. It’s a big win-win-win, my audience gets to see a good product and for a good price, I get to make my content, get an affiliate sale here and there, and the brand gets exposure and sales.

An example of a paid collaboration that worked out great is this video on the right. Duux wanted me to compare their fans to some other popular models, and see what my findings were. I got 100% creative freedom with this deal, and I also told them that I could not make it look better than it really is. They took the risk, and it worked out great for both.

I explained all the reasons why I love them, but also the downsides of all brands involved in the video. I really like these ‘comparison reviews’ because I love exploring why it is, that I would recommend one over the other. In this deal I got the Duux models for free, and purchased the others. Now for some that might be reason to prefer one over the other, but honestly, I’ve seen so much stuff over the years I can safely say that this does not influence my decision in any way shape or form.

Another collab I loved was the one about the new Anker Prime 200W and 250W models. Just a quick rundown of the specs, why you should or should not buy them, and the audience can make up their own mind. Sometimes I don’t have to give my own input, but a brand just wants me to feature their product. This can give exposure, and helps me make content. This was not because I wanted to avoid it, but because the release was too fast for me to comfortably say anything about it long-term. So this worked well.

When I first thought about making a droptest video, I was very scared I would destroy every single one. So naturally, I looked for screen protectors. Spigen helped out and provided them. Alot of them! Only 2 broke out of all of the phone cases dropped, and it proved the TR-EZ fit is a reliable product. They did not sponsor the video, just provided the product I needed at that time. And to be honest, it could’ve easily been a sponsored video because the product worked amazingly well and I can definitely stand behind it. Another example of ‘product placement’ that just works. A big win-win.

Now of course I’ve also worked with brands that don’t sell a product, but a service. Aura was one of them. A sponsored segment within a video of their choosing. 30-60 seconds, can be related, or just random. Even though it’s easily skipped, a quick mention in the beginning and a bigger segment in the middle still gives alot of exposure. And depending on the topic and video, some might prefer to watch.

So why not get in touch? We can discuss details and see if it’s a fit. Just know that I will always be ‘unfiltered’.

Terms apply to all sponsorship requests/agreements, and or product review requests:
1. Offering free products never guarantees a positive review (or even a review/video at all). Just like a sponsorship does not guarantee a positive video. My channel is based on honesty, not marketing for brands.
2. My work is my own. I create and produce each video based on what I’m excited about and what I think will be relevant/helpful to my audience at that time.
3. My reviews are always as objective as possible and my opinions are always my own.
4. I will work to seek answers for anything about a product/service that I don’t fully understand to make my videos as accurate and helpful as possible.
5. While it usually makes sense to include certain links in video descriptions or social media posts, I retain full control over what is shared on my accounts across all platforms.
6. I’m more than happy to let others share my videos, as long as the post links directly to the original video uploaded to my YouTube channel. Videos may not be re-uploaded elsewhere unless stated differently.
7. I do not guarantee any number of views or any amount of audience engagement on any videos. As much as I want everything I create to “perform” well, there are too many variables beyond my control for me to make any claims regarding potential viewership.
